Your new role
As Junior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the Company's financial transactions are correctly and accurately recorded. This will involve assisting in the production of month end reporting; preparation of journals; monthly bank reconciliations and intrastat submissions. You will provide costing support to the cost accountant and also support the finance manager with monthly management accounts. The role compromises both finance and general administration, the average split is 75% finance and 25% general administration. You may also be required to sort and distribute incoming mail; answer telephone calls; and book meeting rooms.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be ambitious and motivated towards a successful career in finance. You will be personable and confident communicating with all levels of staff and suppliers. You will receive comprehensive training so whilst previous experience in a finance-based role would be advantageous, it's not essential. You will be a team player and able to liaise with all departments across the company but also able to proactively work on your own initiative. German language skills are distinct advantage, but not essential.
