Description
- Managing finance team on day to day basis and interaction with group reporting team
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and high quality management information
- Involvement in the budgeting process and monitoring/challenge of spend against budgets
- Analysis of financial performance and involvement in the forecast process
- Liaison with auditors and group reporting in relation to the audit of statutory entities
- Undertaking financial administration and internal audits
- Development of internal financial systems and control and implementation of new software
- Responsibility for internal compliance and adherence to policies
- Managing meetings with key business stakeholders
- Controlling income and expenditure
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
Profile
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Good oral and written communication skills, commentator on results, brevity, concise, constructive and insightful
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Leadership ability - management of a team of 7 finance staff
- Technical accounting
- Ability to act as a Business partner - decision support & influence
- Production of timely, high quality management information
