My client is one of the leading businesses within the Insurance space, with the EMEA HQ based in Canary Wharf.
Your new role
You will be playing an incremental role within the Human Resources team as part of a restructure:
-You will process payroll for the companies employees, with the support of one Payroll Assistant.
-liaising directly with the payroll provider, providing the majority of the payroll data to be processed
-In addition to the payroll, you will be heavily involved with the general reward and benefits, taking lead on the benefit renewals and rolling this out within the business internally.
- Ensure tax and social security payments are made to local authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Review and implement improvements to the payroll process
- Assist the Finance team with the annual payroll audit
- Support the HR Team with the year end compensation process, assisting with salary and benefit bench marking
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be selected for this role it is essential that you have start to finish payroll experience. In addition to that, you will have been involved with benefits, preferably liaised with a broker or the benefit providers yourself, ensuring best possible deals. Confidence, and strong communication skills are a must, as you will be communicating with key stakeholders within the business, presenting data.
