Management Accountant opportunity based in Oxfordshire (near Thame) and offering upto £50,000 per annum

A market leading and international business based just outside of Oxford, is actively seeking an ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant to join their close-knit finance function. The role will report into the Finance Director and manage two direct reports.
Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the full production of monthly management accounts including P&L, variance analysis and commentary. In addition, you will also be expected to business partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide support on how they manage their site from a finance point-of-view. Further duties include assisting the Finance Director with preparation of board reports, annual budgets and quarterly forecast. Managing and reviewing ledgers (GL, cashbook, sales, purchase, subcontract and expenses) will be key in how you manage the team and delegate workload. Wider annual tasks will include preparation of the year end statutory accounts and annual tax pack, alongside audit lead and consolidation to head office.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with strong experience in management and financial reporting. Other essential traits include ability to prioritise work loads and meet tight deadlines, along with supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks when required and possessing a proven track record communicating effectively with cross-divisional stakeholders at various levels.
