Job Details

An exciting Financial Controller role for a fast growing online gaming company based in central London. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function.

Client Details

A fast growing technology start up that is a specialist within the online gaming space.

Description

  • Responsible for all treasury, financial processes and balance sheet controls within the group, including managing international entities.
  • Responsible for treasury including local and foreign bank accounts and crypto-asset holdings. Manage accounts payable and ensure all our suppliers and employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for compliance with all tax regulations including payroll taxes, sales taxes, corporation tax and gambling taxes (including the management of our external accounting and tax advisors).
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with our nominee directors to ensure corporate secretarial compliance. Manage all our internal accounts information, including monitoring of variances to plan and reporting of KPIs.
  • Responsible for the financial planning and forecasting function: ensuring accurate and timely financial strategy reviews, annual plan preparation and continuous forecasting.
  • Liaising with development and operations to ensure financial requirements are included in the platform development. Liaising with leadership team to understand business performance and budget/forecast requirements.

Profile

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with a good academic background.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience (5 years plus) managing financial processes and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulation.
  • Passionate to be the main finance leader in the business, ideally passionate about technology.
  • Have excellent analytical skills, finance and business acumen.
  • Open-minded, have a sense of humour, combined with the ability to inspire people.
  • You believe in a culture which emphasizes happiness, continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Experience in the Gambling industry desirable.

Job Offer

  • Salary £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience
