A world leading prestigious University in London is recruiting for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Are ACA qualified? Do you have a strong academic background that started your career in practice? Do you have an interest in the Education, wider Not for profit/public sector? If you are looking to move into industry or have already done so and now looking for a new challenge in a business-facing business partnering role, this is the perfect opportunity for you Joining a £350million T.O university, reporting into a respected Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and forming part of a 15 strong, high performing and talented FP&A team, you will have responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and supporting financial management. Key responsibilities include: -Providing financial support and advice to Senior Management and stakeholders across the organisation, often to those with non-finance backgrounds. -Provide challenge and support to these stakeholders for financial decision-making including budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, scenario modelling and ensuring value for money. -Support the development and production of strategic business plans. -Production of monthly management accounts with focus on added value reporting opportunities as well as assisting in the production of monthly consolidated accounts. -Provide support to the wider finance team in the budget setting process and contribute to business process reviews. The organisation is also due to undergo a new system implementation later this year in which this post will have the opportunity to support. The successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountant that is progressive, and career driven, with a keen interest working within the sector. Strong communication skills and bubbly personality are essential. You must have the ability, confidence and backbone to convey finance information to a business with difficult stakeholders in a warm, approachable but challenging manor.
