A growing company is seeking a Credit Controller to join its team based in Croydon for a 1-year fixed term contract. You will be joining a leading name in the bespoke architectural hardware sector. Working alongside one other Finance Assistant, you will be assisting with the efficient collection of due payments and ensuring that the sales ledger is accurately maintained. As a Credit Controller your duties will include: - Helping to manage a ledger of UK customers. - Chasing debts, daily allocation of customer receipts and accurate account reconciliation. - Credit checks, query resolution and monitoring risks to the business. To be a successful Credit Controller you will have the following skills and experience: - Proven experience of Credit Control / Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger. - The ability to forge strong business relationships. - Successfully recovered outstanding debts from commercial customers. - Excellent communication skills, to include liaising with internal Sales. - A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. - An enthusiastic approach in working to strict regular deadlines. As the Controller, you will be required to work Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm. In return, the Controller will receive a salary of £32,000 per annum DOE.
