The EMEA Commercial Finance team play an important role at Avis Budget Group. We have structured ourselves to provide key support heavily focused on the EMEA Commercial teams. Breaking down into three key pillars, Corporate (I&R, Strategic, Mid-Market and Telesales), B2B2C (Intermediaries, Brokers and Partnerships) and Data Analytics and Profitability Modelling. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team to support the EMEA Commercial Sales team. The role will see you drive cost and profit performance across pan EMEA sales agreements, being heavily involved in negotiation and making logical business decisions. You will gain a great understanding of our business and our competitors in order to optimise profitability in pursuit of our goal to increase margins. Core activities include: Supporting commercial team understand the end to end performance of our commercial sales agreements. Specifically understanding bids and tenders across EMEA, targeting optimal profitability. Identifying opportunities to drive margin performance improvement through regular and ad-hoc insight and analysis. This is a key role to support both the Commercial Finance Director and International Sales Director. Forecasting and planning segmental performance across the markets and regional initiatives. Leading the support of the Commercial Sales team with the production of the monthly insight to support Commercial sales performance pack for the Regional monthly sales calls, using Tableau to provide self-serve insights to the team, and providing commentary and analysis for the International Sales Team. Development of profitability modelling of key accounts to support the sales tender process. Assessing and challenging key account performance in order to optimise operational, fleet and sales process leading to best in class margin. You will be commercially astute, enjoy problem solving, be able to plan and prioritise effectively and have experience of generating insight to drive business decisions. Your outstanding communication skills will help you to effectively communicate complex concepts, and you will be confident in challenging your internal stakeholders. Experience of profitability modelling on key accounts and revenue allocation models to understand business profitability would be advantageous.
