We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our experienced team here at Cygnet Head Office. The Position The primary objective of this role is to business partner with the various executive teams and operational teams to provide financial and commercial analysis to deliver strategic plans and financial goals. Duties and Responsibilities To work with the Executive team to ensure each head office department understands and maintains their budget. Reviewing and providing monthly analysis of key head office cost lines and liaising with department heads on variances to budget. Business partner with the Company's Multi-Disciplinary team (MDT) to achieve objectives and provide financial stewardship to the clinical leadership team across the country. Business partner with the HR team to ensure tracking of staff KPI data is timely, accurate and analysed to inform the wider business. Lead the review and benchmarking exercise of staffing requirements within the various services and central functions. To collect, track, analyse and report on the business KPIs including staff vacancies. Involved with budgeting and forecasting To work with the business to better understand the sensitivities affecting costs to ensure future budgeting and reporting reflects the business and its needs more accurately Be a key team member on pay strategy discussions between HR, Operations and Finance Create financial models to analyse impacts of staffing changes, including national living wage or pay increase impacts. To work closely with Finance to ensure that the business payroll is correct. To assist the Head of Commercial Finance, Finance Director and Group CFO with ad hoc projects as necessary. Experience: A qualified accountant with a strong commercial background (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience. Interested in the bigger picture, whilst able to produce financial information accurately and on time. Able to make complex things understandable. Ability to communicate with both finance and non-financial individuals alike. Motivated to progress within the finance function of a growing business. Able to manage a variety of stakeholders under tight deadlines. Ability to identify issues and use initiative to solve problems. Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines. Team player with willingness to help others and go above and beyond their formal role. Good attention to detail. Good system skills including intermediate excel. Why Cygnet? We'll offer you...
