Must be qualified with a proven background in FP&A. Media experience preferred. Great career progression and exposure across the business. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance your primary focus will be:
• To lead the key financial planning processes delivering timely and insightful output with full internal buy in within the required timeframes.
• To support departmental heads in their decision-making and help Management drive bottom line growth of the business through regular and ad hoc analytics
• To own the month end affiliate revenue reporting process Specifically your key accountabilities will be:
• Lead the key planning cycle processes for the UK business: Budget, Long Range Plan, Forecast
• Liaise with key stakeholders through each planning process, with a focus on improving long term profitability
• Act as the key financial modelling and analysis expert to deliver insight to shape the business strategic decisions and investments
• Work with Central Finance to improve planning processes and regular KPI reporting
• Business partner with key Department heads (including Sales, Programming and Technical) to assist decision making
• Prepare planning documents and analysis as required by Joint Venture partners.
• Support the business by reviewing of Business Plans and strategic initiatives
• Take sole responsibility for the month end close of UK Affiliate revenue, including journal posting and review of revenue vs plan.
• Review/reconciliation of Accrued Revenue Balance sheet account
• Support the UK Group and statutory audit and reporting, assist with preparation of revenue data for the auditors and liaison thereafter
• Support development of current internal processes and controls to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with corporate governance Required Experience:
• Qualified accountant ACA /AMCA / ACCA
• Proactive with hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met
• Strong Excel skills
• Previous FP&A and month-end experience required
