THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a service sector organisation based in Chesterfield. THE JOB: Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include: Maintaining the sales ledger All aspects of credit control including checking and setting,credit limits, cash collection and query resolution Processing and posting daily banking transactions Preparing data analysis reports Posting journals Balance sheet reconciliations (monthly and quarterly) Maintaining intercompany recharges and monthly reconciliations Assisting with cash flow preparation Assisting with budget and forecasting Ability to provide absence cover for other finance departmental routines when required (training provided) Other ad hoc duties as required THE PERSON: You will currently be studying towards a professional qualification (AAT or ICM) You will have a desire for career progression and willingness to take on new responsibilities The willingness to interrogate accounting system is required Ability to work on your own initiative is essential Understanding the importance of good cash management is essential Strong Excel data analytics (pivot tables, look ups & if functions) is essential BENEFITS: Competitive salary Free on site parking 37.5 hour working week Healthcare Pension Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
