Wiltshire Reporting to: Finance Director Hours/Terms: Full time, permanent The Client Our client is a housing and commercial services provider in Wiltshire and central England. The Role As Head of FP&A and Treasury, you will be shaping the development of the existing team of treasury and financial planning experts to support the business development activity of the organization as it delivers an ambitious growth strategy. Commercially astute and flexible, your responsibility will be both to influence key stakeholders outside the business and to deliver support to the Board and executive groups through your internal team. Specifically, your responsibilities will include: Leading on the treasury activities of the Group, ensuring delivery of the treasury strategy and policy compliance through the facilitation of funding solutions; Leading on financial planning and preparation of the organisation's financial plans, including preparation and delivery of forecasts, budgets and strategic plans and detailed scenario modelling; Providing a valuable financial support for business development across the organisation; and Providing an effective and efficient corporate finance service across the organisation, including the day to day management of the corporate finance team. The Successful Applicant You will be a qualified accountant motivated to drive commercial success and able to influence senior management and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate significant relevant experience, ideally including proven success in treasury and strategic finance. Candidates with a commercial background demonstrating related skills will also be considered. You'll offer at least 5 years' experience working at a senior management level and leading a multi-disciplinary team in a service-led organization. In addition, we hope you will demonstrate: Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the business An entrepreneurial "can do" positive attitude Strategy and policy development skills Strong commercial and business awareness Sound decision making skills Experience of operating at Board level and confidence presenting to a variety of stakeholders This role will require travel between sites in the UK (mostly M4 corridor) and attendance at evening meetings.
