Our client is growing rapidly and as a result has a brand new role for an experienced Relationship Director, with a strong business development mentality. This is a unique opportunity for a high performing RD with a strong track record of new business acquisition & deal origination in Commercial Banking (debt £1m-£10m) to join a unique growing Challenger Bank & help them reach their growth targets. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to build their own lending book & will also deliver these skills to others in the team through coaching & mentoring. Our client is an ethical lender and carry a strong social message, which combined with their appetite to lend & ability to move on deals quickly makes this an attractive proposition in the market. The role will be home based with flexibility and the ability to work autonomously. As the Relationship Director, you will act as an ambassador for the Bank in the external community by establishing, maintaining and most importantly growing relationships with key sector organisations and professional intermediaries to support achievement of the Bank's business objectives. As the Relationship Director your responsibilities and duties will include: Delivering financial objectives to achieve goals set by our client Building a portfolio, through generating new connections Maximising your network to identify and structure new lending Acquiring, managing and maintaining banking relationships in accordance with our clients' business plans. About You If you are currently in a Relationship Director role this is the ideal next step in your career Essential Skills and Competencies of the Relationship Director role: Ability to engage with others, both inside and outside of the Bank to tell our client's story and be a positive ambassador for the brand. High level of analytical and report writing skills, able to present accurate and comprehensive credit applications Able to exercise sound judgement and decision making engaging with key stakeholders to ensure good customer outcomes. Working with colleagues within the Relationship Management team to share sector knowledge and commercial banking expertise Role models customer centricity with colleagues across the bank and assists in the development of a 'right first time' culture About the Company Our client is a social economy lender who work with organisations that aim to have a positive impact on society through economic, social and community change.
