And we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for Finance Officers to work with us on one of the biggest transformation digital programmes in Europe. In BPDTS Ltd you'll join a new organisation with a unique set of challenges for finance professionals. This is a real opportunity for the right person to shape and define this role You will be part of an organisation responsible for the delivery of digital platforms and services, real-time analytics and flexible infrastructure, providing secure and resilient services to DWP, with the power to make a difference to the lives of 22 million UK citizens. You and your role Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will support the Finance Manager with day to day running, with tasks including month-end activity, analysing financial data, provision of month-end accounts, invoice processing, liaising with contractor providers and lots more. You should have worked in finance before, for example you may be a part qualified accountant. And an accountancy qualification is desirable (but not essential); equivalent experience is just as valuable. You'll work and learn in a supported and supportive environment where we grow and improve together. What are we looking for? Previous experience of preparing budgets and budget monitoring. Experience of providing regular financial management information/advice to tight deadlines. Experience of working as part of a Finance Team. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of numeracy and accuracy. Strong IT skills with the ability to learn other IT packages quickly, in particular Microsoft Excel skills including using / developing complex spreadsheets for financial modelling. Flexible and adaptable approach together with the drive to be self-motivated and be able to work independently without close supervision. Where will you work? You'll join us in one of our easy-to-reach digital hubs in Blackpool, Manchester, or Newcastle (your choice). Each hub has been designed for and by members of our community. Our hubs have the best of each location on the doorstep, and we have a range of facilities across the sites including great cafes, coffee shops and restaurants.
