I have just started work on a new role for a great company based in Chester. There is the need fort someone to join the team on an immediate basis for a period of 5 months on a fixed term contract basis. This is a very forward thinking company and any experience gained form this position / company would certainly be seen as CV enhancing. The Role Working from our Chester headquarters this role will report to the Credit Control Manager and take responsibility for managing a section of the ledger to ensure acceptable levels of payments and indebtedness are maintained. What you will do Reduce the DSO and overdue debt by successfully managing an assigned section of the ledger and ensuring payments are made promptly Chase customer debt by telephone and email Work with Account Managers to effectively resolve customer queries that are delaying the collection of monies owed and keep an accurate record of any invoices held in query Aid in the forecasting of receipts for cash flow forecasting Take on other ad hoc duties as advised by the Credit Control Manager To enable you to be successful, we are looking for Experience in managing high volume B2B customer accounts An excellent telephone manner with the ability to deal direct with customers and their finance departments Someone that enjoys talking to customers and that is skilled in overcoming customer objections with integrity, resilience and persuasiveness The ability to autonomously plan your workload and focus on the right priorities The ability to communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve any customer queries Good computer literacy skills A highly motivated individual, that brings energy and confidence, that is target driven and able to work as part of a team You will be able to demonstrate a positive, engaging, hard-working approach and exhibit the company values of Innovation, Quality, Excellence, Respect and Trust If you have the necessary skills and are looking to start your next role please apply to be considered for the shortlist.
