The role oversees all financial affairs of the Charity, so 3rd sector experience is desirable. The successful candidate will likely be in accord with these values. Reporting to the Group CEO, contributing to core decisions for their UK manufacturing centre & overseas subsidiaries. A forward thinking, commercially & financially astute accountant in a dynamic multi-discipline senior team. You must have outstanding analytical skills that deliver insights to shape growth. You will collaborate seamlessly within their teams, taking personal responsibility for accounting & financial matters. You must not be afraid to dig into detail, nor be too proud to do basic data entry yet have the intellect to convert data into information that drives strategic direction. - Fully qualified degree - Preparing interpreting & consolidating monthly financial reports of group companies - Supervision of monthly payroll processing & year-end returns - Preparation & submission of VAT, Intrastat & HMRC returns - Accurate & timely posting of sales & purchase invoices, control of creditors & debtors, multi-currency bank accounts & internal audit controls - Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, R&D tax credits, Patent Box & other appropriate tax/capital allowances. - Preparing operating budgets and forecasts with cost centre analyses & control. Basic salary £35k to £50k dependent on experience, with profit related bonuses. Flexible working hours South Cambridge / Suffolk border. International travel may be required.
