A fantastic opportunity has been created with this well respected firm of financial planners that offers independent financial planning advice for a compliance & operations assistant to join the growing team. They are a highly reputable firm with a considerable client base and following a period of particularly strong growth, they are looking to recruit into the operational side of the business for someone to work closely with the compliance manager at the firm. The Role The aim of the role is to provide high quality ongoing support to the financial advisors and back office teams by assisting with implementing change, staying up to date with FCA regulations and making sure that the firm remains compliant. The perfect candidate will be pro-active, forward-thinking and have some experience in a similar role, as this is a small team of compliance professionals. They offer an excellent package, exam support and guidance from some highly technical and qualified professionals who will aid in your development. Skills: Previous experience within a compliance/operations position is required Good working knowledge of the FCA regulators and other relevant legislation would be desirable Experience in a wealth Manager/Financial Advisor/IFA firm would be preferable Self-motivated and team oriented Excellent written and verbal communication On offer is an exceptional basic salary, plus bonus and an extensive benefits package.
