City & Capital Headhunters are currently representing a highly successful & prolific lender of commercial property finance who have retained our services in order to appoint an experienced and dynamic Relationship Director to their growing team. The appointment will drive and deliver key relationships in th North West with a view to the identification and funding of key lending opportunities to fit policy for commercial mortgages, commercial & residential investment portfolios, short term property finance and property development funding. The role will take full responsibility for managing key introducer and client relationships within your region, with a primary focus on the professional & commercial property markets. You will identify and deliver key funding opportunities from within and be the face of the lender within the region. Our client boasts a wonderful support team in their impressive HQ and thus this will allow you to focus on what you do best. Building relationships, structuring and negotiating around property transactions and delivering performance against lending targets. The ideal individual will therefore have a demonstrable track record of success within property lending, either within the banking or specialist lending markets or will be experienced within financial services, relevant to commercial debt. You will be well connected to commercial brokers, professionals or clients in the region in order to leverage relationships to hit the ground running. You will be strategic in your approach to relationship management and confident when working to your own diary of appointments to deliver against objectives. This role will be home based and you will therefore be required to: Strategically manage your own diary and appointments with new and existing contacts and clients to achieve relevant lending targets agreed Work and manage your own pipeline of lending opportunities in line with the requirements of the role. Our client does receive inbound enquiries from their own key contacts which would fall under your remit to manage within your region Negotiate new facilities with existing clients in respect of increases or amendments to existing debt Prepare credit submissions for approval where required Report in to the Sales Director on performance and progress Implement and deliver sales and marketing strategies to improve both operational and commercial performance Quantifiable skills & experience of the ideal individual include: Direct experience working within origination of property finance lending in the UK Confident and experienced in submitting credit papers and working closely with Underwriters and other stakeholders for approval Strong and loyal contact base from which to generate new lending opportunities Confident and driven personality. Target and revenue focussed. Outstanding technical knowledge of complex property transactions Strategic and commercially minded in approach.
