Company Northern Health Care Ltd provides mental health recovery services across the North of England. Our services include both residential units and community outreach including 24 hr support and access to experienced qualified staff. We are looking to recruit a Finance Apprentice to be based at head office in Eccles. Role Assist with day to day financial processing duties to assist the Finance Team monitor and control the company's finances. Responsibilities Assisting with the processing of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank receipts/payments for the organisation. Accurate day-to-day inputting of transactions onto the accounting system. Maintain and update the fixed assets register Control Account Reconciliations for Debtors/Creditors/Bank/etc Assist in the development and maintenance of effective financial administration of onsite cash management Assist with internal audits. Assist in the creation and maintenance of an up-to-date financial procedure's manual Ad hoc analysis to support the Finance Manager in controlling and monitoring the Company's financial performance Be responsible for maintaining and updating filing systems and undertaking annual archiving duties Ensure all transactions and stored information is compliant with the Data Protection Laws Contribute to delivery and achievement of company key performance indicators Key attributes we will be looking for include: Minimum of five GCSE's at Grade A-C including Maths & English Computer literate with good IT skills including Excel Basic Knowledge of Excel /Windows Office software applications Desirable attributes we will be looking for include: AAT or other finance or business-related qualification. Previous work experience in a similar role Experience of working with Excel /Windows Office software applications Experience of working in an office environment, working within a pressurised environment or to deadlines
