Job Details

A new Financial Controller is needed for a leading leisure and hospitality business located within the Sutton area.

Client Details

This client is a major player in the travel and tourism business with multiple sites globally and across the United Kingdom.

Description

The Financial controller will be responsible for:

- Overseeing company accounts and investments.
- Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
- Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
- Supervising and managing financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
- Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Developing budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
- Reviewing all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.

Profile

The Financial Controller will possess:

- A suitable finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

- Proven experience within the travel/tourism/hospitality industry is advantageous.

- Experience within a senior Management Accounting or Financial Controller role is advantageous.

- Willingness to engage with multiple stakeholders and occasionally travel to different business sites.

Job Offer

£ 40 000 - £ 50 000 per annum + benefits.
