Service Charge Assistant - £30,000 - Property Surveyors - Oxford Circus

This role is working within a large property surveyors based a 10 minute walk from Oxford Circus. You will be working within modern, open-plan offices in the heart of London in a team of 5 in finance

Your new role
Candidates who apply for this role MUST have previous experience working within the property sector and be working as a Service Charge Assistant within a team of 5 in finance. The team use the systems TRAMPS, and candidates will be more desirable if they have used this system previously. The duties for this role are as follows:

• Posting invoices to the system and ensuring they are paid in a timely manner
• Entering budgets
• Processing journal entries
• Accruals and prepayments
• Updating tenant charge to reflect caps increase
• Ensuring tenants apportionment's are correct
• Preparing and closing service charges and ensuring adherence to the RICS service charge code
• Charging out balancing service charge
• Recharging insurance

What you'll need to succeed
Candidates who apply for this role MUST come from the property sector and be keen to learn within this role as there is scope to progress. Candidates will have ideally used a property based accountancy system such as TRAMPS or Yardi,
