Finance Business Partner We are looking for an ambitious finance individual for the role of Finance Business Partner for our Mobile and Multiplay Business. This is an exciting and broad opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant, the role will be business partnering with the Commercial Directors and effectively influencing stakeholders to ensure that forecasts are robust, challenging and meet the business targets. Reporting to the Head of Mobile Business Partner and working as the primary business partner for the internal stakeholders. As the Finance Business Partner, the main purpose of your role will be to:
• Effectively business partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing them with commercial support to be able to drive profitability and a return of investment for Mobile and Multiplay
• Provide forecasting, outlooks, budgets and long-term plans for Mobile and Multiplay categories
• Responsible for presentations for the senior management teams, including highlighting variances and providing commentary on financial results
• Support the business in developing long-term strategic commercial plans and own the development of the related financial model
• Work collaboratively with all colleagues across the Planning & Reporting CoE
• Support a programme of standardisation, tightening of processes and process optimisation
• Work closely with the FP&A COE to develop and deliver robust and insightful reports, to drive improvements
• Work with numerous other finance colleagues daily, across the existing Dixons and Carphone businesses.
• Supporting with any project related work including recommending improvements to existing processes You will have:
• A recognised Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACAor equivalent)- this role would suit a recently qualified accountant
• Demonstrable experience, post qualification in a retail, media, telecoms/ commercial finance setting
• Solid stakeholder management experience or have the analytical acumen to take ownership of a commercially focused role
• Excellent communication skills
• An ability to understand and articulate business and strategy, in financial and non-financial terms to a wide group of stakeholders, both orally and in writing
