We at Watford Community Housing Group are growing our finance resource and would like to recruit a strong Financial Accountant to join our finance team. As Financial Accountant your role will be to provide a robust financial service to the Group, including its subsidiaries, and will focus on balance sheet management, financial reconciliations, statutory account preparation and financial reporting. As Financial Accountant you will be responsible: responsible for the provision of financial accounts for the Group, in particular its subsidiaries and joint ventures run the process of creating annual budgets for companies within the Group to be the owner of the fixed asset register for Group companies to monitor the income and expenditure for Group subsidiaries to ensure adherence to agreed business plans, and to report on variances against that plan to develop and operate various accounting controls within the Finance function to assist the Financial Controller and Senior Management Accountant in developing financial strategies when needed, particularly for cross-service and cross-organisation functions About You For you to be able to fulfil the role of Financial Accountant You will hold a relevant financial qualification such as ACCA or CIMA and will have min 3 years experience in a similar role. You will need to be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of both single entity and group accounting as well as the relevant accounting standards and regulation. You will be a confident communicator, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders in an easy to understand manner.
