About the Role As an Associate Partner within the Strategic Advisory team you will lead teams in delivering innovative and effective solutions for clients engaging in large, mid and small-scale change events (e.g. global M&A transactions and business transformations). As a senior-level consulting professional with advanced knowledge in a multiplicity of business and HR fields, as well as knowledge and experience managing small to large scale projects, you will be expected to: Sell and manage delivery of human capital/business transformation solutions - mostly within the M&A space - with the highest quality and profitability; Serve as an engagement manager and salesperson for large, complex client human capital and business transformation projects and/or relationships, and/or work as a business leader within Aon. Engagements will typically be within the M&A space and will cover a wide range of human capital areas (for example: remuneration and benefits, talent and retention, HR policies and programs, and HR systems and delivery) and/or business transformation activities (for example: organisation design and transformation, leadership/talent assessments and selections, workforce planning); Manage the Strategic Advisory relationships with large and targeted clients-guide analysis of the client's current business challenges, define success measures and drive the team to deliver; Create strong, ongoing client relationships, becoming their trusted partner and influential strategic advisor on all areas of human capital and/or business transformation; Anticipate client needs through study of their industry trends and business environment and provide clients with recommendations to support transaction implementation; Participate in client strategy, planning, and innovation sessions with client teams, and bring new ideas to retain clients and increase revenue; Lead or strongly influence client teams working across multiple lines of business and markets; Sell and manage the delivery of human capital/business transformation solutions with the highest quality and profitability; Work with key internal partners to source teams required to support clients; Manage large client teams to ensure profitability; Originate and lead large and mid-sized projects that have strong commercial value and lead to the profitable growth of the firm; Partner with sales leaders to support proposals and other selling efforts; Manage financials of an assignment including tracking project profitability and growth; Be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Extensive experience with client facing consulting activities for large, complex, global M&A transactions and/or business transformations; Extensive experience/knowledge of a variety of business and human capital disciplines and application of knowledge in the execution of large-scale consulting activities - benefits, HR delivery, compensation, talent, organization design, and workforce planning; Experience in Total Rewards and Benefits is advantageous; Comfortable with regularly engaging with and presenting to clients at senior and executive levels; Ability to assimilate data and information from broad set of internal and external (if necessary subject matter experts to create strategic recommendations and logical work plans; Accountable for assignments/projects to ensure they're delivered with quality and efficiency; Accountable for large, mid and small-scale assignments/projects to ensure they're delivered with quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
