My client, an International, award winning Recruitment Agency based in South Manchester, is looking for a Ledger Clerk to join their team. You will report directly into the Finance Manager and Finance Director. The duties and responsibilities will include:
• Printing & Checking timesheets on a weekly & monthly basis
• Creating Sales Invoices on a weekly & monthly basis
• Posting Purchase Invoices on a weekly & monthly basis
• Payment of Purchase invoices on a weekly & monthly basis
• Cover of other booking keeping staff during periods of annual leave
• Some credit control cover for various ledgers, contacting clients by phone, post, email
• Posting cash receipts
• Managing online timesheets system including setting up new placements
• Dealing with calls and emails from Contractors/ Clients regarding timesheets and invoices etc
• Investigating queries and identifying and developing resolutions
• Updating the database regarding contractor / client invoicing details
• Project Work The successful candidate will ideally have a background in general office administration, and have had some exposure to a busy sales environment. A keen eye for detail is essential in this role. A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Database management would be beneficial. A salary of £20,000 - £23,000 is on offer, plus £2,000 annual bonus paid quarterly.
