Your opportunity The Firm's Tax Department is responsible for providing tax compliance services to the firm and its Partners and employees, including corporate tax, personal tax, international tax for international project workers and assignees, benefits reporting, and VAT compliance. We have an opportunity to become part of our Tax Delivery Team within a growing department, which offers the opportunity to work across all tax disciplines whilst benefiting from the support associated with a Big 4 firm. Your role As part of the Tax Delivery Team you will support the firm, its partners and employees across all taxes ranging from data analytics to negotiating technical positions with the tax authorities, involving cutting-edge technology such as arranging Robotic Process Automation and innovative Continuous Service Improvement methodologies. Deliverables will include some or all of the following: Liaison with tax and mobility teams across the global Deloitte network Support in the management of overseas tax compliance for cross-border engagements End to end UK personal tax compliance for our partners and their family members as well as our internationally mobile employees Creation and maintenance of tax provisions for UK equity partners, including arranging payments to HMRC Administration of modified payrolls Support the audit of the firm's quarterly VAT filing requirements Communication with key stakeholders across the business, including assisting client facing teams with their financials and tax obligations Undertaking data analysis to support our statutory Corporate tax compliance filing requirements Assisting with the provision of advice to the firm relating to income tax on benefits provided Supporting the submission of annual P11d statements to HMRC and other employer compliance filing requirements, including calculation and submission of the firm's annual PAYE settlement agreement Help manage risk for the firm Your work, your choice Full Time - 12 month fixed term contract or internal secondment opportunity.
