Our client, an innovator in its field that has demonstrated incredible growth in recent years, is looking to source an ambitious and commercially astute Senior Finance Analyst to join its talented team. This is a newly created role as a result of increased demand and market share, responsible for providing financial advice to stakeholders and developing business plans, new proposals, budgets, forecasts and reporting of actual performance. Main duties include: Providing support and challenge to the Operations Team by building effective working relationships at all levels, including Senior Managers Producing period management accounts, analysis and commentary and present to Head of Finance Supporting for the bidding of new contracts, reviewing terms to determine revenue and costs recognition is sound; undertaking client profitability reviews Maintaining financial controls Leading annual budget and quarterly forecast process Continually identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase efficiency Developing models to explain cash flow The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic record. You must have experience reporting management accounts and producing analysis and commentary in a fast-paced environment. Budgeting and forecasting is also key, as well as a proven track record business partnering with non-finance. Aside from the accounting piece, candidates must show clear commercial nous and passion for driving change. You'll be a key contributor to the decision making process, so you'll be expected to demonstrate credibility and influencing skills. Communication skills must be of a high standard, as you'll need to build sustainable professional relationships and interact across Finance and Operations.
