We are assisting them in the recruitment of a credit controller to work from their office based in Worksop and the client will consider applications from people looking for both full-time or part-time work. As part of a team, the main responsibilities of this role will be minimising the outstanding debt of the business as well as identifying any potential risks and working to effectively resolve the risks in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Chasing customer payments to minimise bad debt, Work to daily outbound phone targets set by the team leader, Work on customer disputes and queries to assist in minimising outstanding debt, Escalate queries where appropriate to the business owners, Create and categorise outbound service requests. Who should apply? My client is keen to find someone who has prior experience working in a finance role - ideally credit control - ideally in a high-volume role with tight deadlines and targets to work to. Ideally you will have a good understanding of Oracle, Exchequer, or Navison, or be IT proficient. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required as you will be dealing with customers, external auditors, and internal employees within the business daily. The right candidate will be joining a large team and so it is crucial that you are a good team player and are willing to help and support colleagues. The working hours are 8:30 AM to 17:00 PM Monday to Friday, however there is the potential for part-time (20 - 24 hours a week).
