Income Assistant Finance, Planning and Data Insight The Finance, Planning and Data Insight section is responsible for managing the Universities income and expenditure, ensuring we get value for money in all financial activity and that we comply with all statutory and regulatory requests. We aim to ensure consistent financial best practice is applied across the University. Duties of the Role The post holder will be responsible for receipting and reconciling all income by providing an efficient, quality and customer focused income collection service. Responsibilities will include providing a professional customer focussed counter service, and proactively chasing customers for non-payment of invoices by negotiating repayment plans and monitoring these repayment plans. You will also be required to provide maintenance for the Sales Ledger, record all student contact using the Customer Relationship Management system and to administer the weekly withdrawal list. Skills and Qualifications required A good working knowledge of, Microsoft Office applications together with 5 GCSE's Grade A-C or equivalent, including in Mathematics and English, is essential. You will also have significant finance counter experience and working experience of computerised accounting systems. You must have the ability to deal with multiple priorities and work to deadlines as well as having good organisational skills and experience of data inputting. In addition, you must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to impart and record information clearly and accurately. Please not this post will be based at our Southend Campus. Salary:
£19,202 - £22,017 per annum, pro rata
