A leading technology business in Greater Manchester are looking to recruit for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join them for around 6 months. About the role As part of this role, you will be completing the following tasks: All routine reporting for a Financial Reporting position. Preparing and reviewing consolidated accounts for the business. Acting as the main point of contact for all Group reporting requirements. Producing statutory accounts. Ensuring that all accounts are compliant to the necessary internal and external regulations. Pushing back and challenging on any areas of weakness for controls. Managing both the Month End and Year End processes. Overseeing the Year End process, including ensuring that a clean audit is achieved. Liaising with auditors as required. About the person This business are looking for a Qualified Accountant (or overseas equivalent) who is ideally ACA Qualified. You must have a strong background in financial reporting, and experience within a Group reporting setting. As this is an interim role, you must be available to start at relatively short notice.
