The business has enjoyed successful growth and is in a very strong position to achieve their ambitious plans to double in turnover in the coming year. In line with the company's strategic growth plan they are looking to recruit a 'hands on' Head of Finance to add value from a commercial and operational point of view, and help prepare the company for further investment which will ultimately speed up their growth and enable them to accomplish their plans to expand internationally. The incoming candidate will establish themselves as the finance lead for the next round of funding, drive better understanding throughout the wider organisation with regards to sales forecasting and commercial aspects, and take full control of finance and operations for the business. They will also ensure there is a robust financial and operational control regime which operates effectively across the business, and be proactive in seeking ways to improve this. The appointed candidate will have experience of operating in an ambitious SME environment in a 'hands on' senior finance role. They will have experience of managing stakeholders including internal and external investors, ideally prior exposure to successfully raising investment for a business and possess strong modelling experience. They must have strong leadership skills, demonstrating an impressive track record in a commercial and operational finance role within a relevant industry such as technology, e-commerce or a contract driven organisation.
