My client based in Milton Keynes has just celebrated their 25th birthday and won numerous awards such as Investor in people and Best recruiter. Through some positive change they are now looking for a Credit Control Manager to join their friendly finance team. You responsibilities will include:
• Leading the Credit Control team in supporting them towards their KPI's which you would help to set
• Going through the weekly aged debt report with senior members of the team giving them a clear story and action taken with clients
• Continuously reviewing current processes in place to streamline and create efficiencies in the credit chasing procedure
• Being hands on and looking after a credit ledger chasing debt
• Proactively keeping on top of the teams ledger in regards to dates of payments
• Ensuring all processes are maintained and recorded correctly by the team
• Dealing with queries internal and external
• Dealing with client escalations and getting them resolved in a timely manner
• Issuing letters of claim and country court claim forms
• Producing bad debt reports and provisions Ideally you will have studied/studying towards a CICM qualification. You will have relevant experience working in a Credit department and have supervised or managed a team. You will be an organised and proactive candidate who is a confident communicator.
