National Account Executive Our client, a significant player in food service is looking to strengthen their team by appointing an National Account Executive to support the Account Management team in handling some of their largest accounts. The business is located nationally across the entire UK, however this role will be based out of Leicester - with considerable travel to customers and sites across the UK. It is a growing and vibrant business and a major part of this newly created role will be to ensure the management and performance of all existing accounts across the UK are in line with the customers' expectations. In addition you will be tasked with actively pursuing new business opportunities, developing existing accounts and not only achieving but exceeding budgets where possible. You will need to have the ability to Influence sites to seek out opportunities for sharing and implementing good/best practice. Duties include: Helping to develop and win new multiple account business. Generate increased sales within client accounts including up selling and cross selling. Be the point of contact for assigned customers. Manage customer relationships. Develop and maintain long term account relationships. Manage pricing and quotes for all customers. Maximise sales by ensuring the highest level of service; including individual customer attention and the negotiation of premium terms. Monitor and review customer data to identify potential opportunities. Work closely with operational colleagues to ensure accounts are managed in line with customers' expectations. Support and work with colleagues on business tenders. Be aware of customer's activities to avoid attrition. Interact and collaborate with all members of the management team. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures across the sites. Maintain and grow key contacts both internally and externally to ensure up to date knowledge of the industry.
