My client are a market leading high end FMCG business. After recent major contract wins, this business are looking to capitalise on new investment into new products and offerings whilst managing a period of huge growth. This newly formed role will be crucial to supporting operations & sales teams in delivering financial performance in contracts whilst working with the wider finance team to create a suitable financial control environment. Reporting directly to the FD your day to day responsibilities will include: Identifying underperforming contracts & supporting operations teams with develop improvement plans Support client reporting and attend client meetings where appropriate Manage budgeting process for Operations and help with the identification of actions needed to deliver Support Operations Directors in the monthly trading process Initial investment appraisal with sales and/or operations in the bid process of new business and retention deals Working closely with the Managing Directors, Finance Director and Operations Directors for the UK business alongside the Group's wider central finance functions this role is particularly visible from senior management level. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be 2 - 4 Years PQE with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification Previous experience in working in a service company Experience of managing both the balance sheet and P&L of a business. Strong MS Excel skills Previous experience of Data Warehouse and Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Ability to manage their own time and achieve deadlines set Good communication skills including previous experience of supporting non- finance colleagues in understanding financial performance.
