Overhead Accountant job based in Rochester £33k working for a Blue Chip Organisation

Your new company
You will be working for a well known Blue Chip organisation based in their Medway offices. This Overhead Accountant job has become available due to growth within the successful finance team. This is an important role within the finance team which will enable you to drive change and improvements.

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing finance business partnering supporting the key senior financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will be involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts, production of year end accounts and supporting various reporting requirements. You will complete financial forecasts and budgets in line with the companies 5 year plan, drive capital budgeting processes and review with senior management. You will drive the business ensuring fixed assets controls around acquisition, capitalisation and disposals in line with company policies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in a senior finance position dealing with management accounts, budgets and forecasts. You will be at least ACCA, ACA or CIMA Part-qualified. You will have excellent Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups and previous experience using ERP systems. You will have experience dealing with Fixed Assets and supervising/motivating team members. You will have a drive to succeed and contribute to change.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £30k - £33k dependant on experience with an excellent benefits package including many local and national employee discounts.
