Job Description : The Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer include: Develop and manage all financial processes, in line with the business strategy, plans and processes, while ensuring adequate financial controls, discipline, and statutory compliance. Combination of Accounts / Finance & Commercial Proactively monitor changes in government regulations and policies, industry, and economy affecting the company finance and accounting practices, assess the implications and develop / modify procedures and controls to ably respond to the situation. Over-looking group companies accounts and finance. Managing Company Policies regarding Capital Requirements, Debt, Taxation, Equity, Acquisitions. Overall cash management on an ongoing basis Formulation of annual budgets for the Corporate and helping the individual units Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly updates to the Chairman and the Board Presentation of annual accounts with recommendation Review of accounts and investigation of variances then setting recovery plans Capital expenditure evaluation and preparation of submissions Close involvement in commercial negotiations during mergers and acquisitions Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions. Advise on appropriate resource allocation, overseeing Treasury Operations and Portfolio Management for the group Transform the organization and making it a robust & professional company with a competitive edge having very well defined norms of corporate governance. Review procedures relating to the preparation of the company plans / budgets / forecasts and controls pertaining to key finance activities, monitor adherence to the relevant processes, policies and take timely action in case of deviations.
