Work with Operations departments to understand key cost drivers for decision makers to help identify + manage the implementation of resulting actions.

Enable robust business case analysis for potential investment decisions based on valuation methods.

Description

  • The finance Business partner will be responsible for :-
  • Great relationships with the Operations/Supply Chain Director and direct reports, providing financial support and challenge
  • Lead and deliver month end reporting, in accordance with the Group guidelines ensuring integrity of (and understanding behind) the numbers,
  • Delivery of budget and planning process including development of the three year plan. Presenting budget and estimates to the Operations/Supply Chain team
  • Work with the Operations/Supply Chain teams to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all capital spend, raising challenges and driving course-correction, based on financial / commercial information
  • Providing financial support, ad hoc analysis and project leadership to highlight challenges or opportunities in delivering operational targets.
  • Implementing controls to manage and report on working capital expenditure to drive improved cash flow for the business

    Profile

    The Finance Business Partner will need to:

        Maintain a flexible approach to constantly changing demands to be able to respond and adapt in a controlled manner, a clear performance advisorFrequently completes tasks ahead of target, exhibits a high level of urgency/qualityUnderstands customer needs, culture and how to get things doneProvide insightful reporting and to communicate complex issues clearly to finance and non-finance people.Have experience working in a fast-paced growth environment.Demonstrate ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis and problem solvingHave excellent Excel and analytical skillsHave experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment essential
