Financial Accountant job paying up to £46k plus study support for a transportation business.

Your new company
An international transportation company based in an accessible London location is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the growing business.

Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for all Financial Reporting for the business within the European capacity. You will conduct the monthly/yearly financial closing process and produce statutory accounts for the business. You will also be involved in process improvements to drive efficiencies as well as system enhancement so to provide further support to the EU countries, where needed. You will have one junior member within the Statutory Accounting team reporting to you and will be responsible for their training and development.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role whereby you have been responsible for financial reporting of a business. Ideally you will have worked within an accountancy practice as well as within industry, however the relevance of the experience itself is more important than the environment. You will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and looking to qualify within your next position. Ideally you will have worked within the Shipping/Logistics/Transportation industries, although this is not essential.
