As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you'll get on the job training in addition to study support with the AAT so you can learn whilst you earn The purpose of this accounts assistant role is to support the overall accounts department in the sales ledger function. You'll need to be ambitious & motivated to further your career to eventually become a qualified accountant.
Responsibilities:
Create & process client invoices Allocate receipts to the correct client account on Sage Reconcile customer accounts Chase any over due debts over the phone Act as the first POC for any invoice queries Process any product returns Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as and when required Requirements: Great academic background with exceptional results in maths Great communication & confidence over the phone Good time management skills Good experience working with MS office applications especially Excel Any accounts experience would be beneficial but it is not essential Some level of experience working in an office environment Benefits: Salary between £16,000 - £18,000 22 days holiday plus bank holidays Health care scheme Company Pension scheme Study support for the AAT Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
