Accounts Assistant. Our client a highly successful organisation based in Leicester are looking for someone to join to busy accounts team. This piece of recruitment is being done on a temp to perm basis therefore candidates should be available either immediately or on short notice. Please note however this is a permanent role. The role: Sales Ledger - Raising Invoices, Checking Prices, Reconciliations, sending invoices / Statements out. Sorting of Customer queries and dealing with the customer Processing of Credit Notes / Debit Notes Credit Control - Chasing Overdue debts Posting Cash to Customer Accounts & Reconciliations to Bank account Maintenance of Cashbooks & Management of Petty Cash Ad hoc duties as requested along with general office administration Inc. Incoming & outgoing post, Ordering Stationery & Canteen Supplies Helping with the Purchase ledger & Purchase payments Helping FC during Month end & other busy times Weekly payroll up to 50 employees (ideal but not essential) The company operates on Sage 50 and Excel so experience of both of those pieces of software is preferred.
