Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful and reputable Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre. Due to growth, the practice is now looking to employ a Payroll Clerk on a part time permanent basis. The practice offers a variety of different services to include the following areas: self-assessment, tax enquiries and advice, VAT advice, payroll and VFO services. The practice has an exciting and varied client base too. This friendly and supportive office does not have an overtime culture and you can often see the staff taking advantage of the onsite gym and independent coffee shop. This position will be working alongside their payroll manager and the director who oversees the payroll department. Duties to include: Payroll and pension processing for various multiple clients from inception to end Payroll calculations Handling and setting up new payrolls Dealing with HMRC Dealing with client under or overpayments Liaising with clients Other admin duties (when required) Skills required: - Experienced in working in a payroll bureau/payroll department of an accountancy practice would be preferred - Solid understanding of payroll and auto enrolment legislation - Meticulous and have a friendly professional manner - IT literate Please note - this is a part time position.
