CMA Recruitment Group is working with an SME based in Eastleigh, Hampshire to help them recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will involve: Balance sheet reconciliations Posting of monthly journal entries Preparation of management accounts and sales and margin reports Preparation of monthly equipment sales report Administering VAT returns, Intrastat, and EC Sales lists Posting receipts to customer accounts Preparing bank payments and posting payments to purchase ledger Arranging currency transfers Recording petty cash transactions and reconciling petty cash balances The successful candidate will have some experience assisting with the monthly management accounts and ideally be AAT qualified, although those qualified by experience will also be considered. For the right person the client may look to offer study support for those wishing the study further.
