Our client, a leading specialist in its sector, is searching for an assistant FP&A Accountant to join their Financial Planning and Analysis teams. They supply a variety of products to major retailers and this role is an important cog in their finance, operational and commercial planning for all retailers. Based at their excellent purpose built site you will be working alongside some forward thinking and business minded professionals who are helping the growth of this well regarded employer. This is a new role to the business and is an exciting opportunity for the right person to build the role around them and challenge the current processes to make them more cost efficient. Supporting the FP&A team you will be tasked with preparing, reviewing and distrusting daily, weekly and monthly commercial, operational and financial reports.

Responsibilities:
-Produce labour and KPI reports -Support with month end review process -Weekly business KPI reports -Maintain standing costing data and in the commercial costing files -Reconcile monthly accounts to weekly accounts highlighting variances -Compare costing assumptions with actual business performance and recommend updates monthly Experience and Skills: -Minimum of AAT Qualified or working toward CIMA / ACCA -ERP system experience -Manufacturing experience -Strong analytical skills -Strong communicator -Confident and autonomous To apply please send your CV and a covering letter indicating your current salary details and notice period.
