Stylus is an innovation research and trends firm. We help businesses process global Consumer Lifestyle, Consumer Product and Consumer Engagement insights, stimulating innovation and growth. We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team here at Stylus. You will be reporting into our Finance Manager and will be responsible for cash collection, maintaining financial records and processing payments. You will be an intermediate level Excel user. KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Raising Sales invoices Monthly reconciliation of customer accounts Preparation of daily aged debt reports using excel Preparation of monthly key stats Calculation of Deferred Revenue Provide accurate advice on billing queries and resolutions Meet cash and debtor day targets Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity Work alongside other departments, including commercial team, to deal with client queries in an effective, accurate and timely manner Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Finance Manager or Finance Director or any other person designated in their absence General ad hoc duties and reporting REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have 2-3 years credit control experience, be proactive and have the ability to work autonomously. Exceptional interpersonal skills are key Ability to work to tight deadlines Well organised, managing time effectively and prioritising work as required Good attention to detail Good written and oral communication skills. Strong level of numeracy and excel skills are required The ability to work in a team and individually Proficiency in Microsoft applications Experience using accounting software such as Sage or Dynamics Italian or French speaking would be an advantage Must be tenacious and have a robust personality
