We are now actively recruiting on behalf of a technology client who are looking for a Finance Manager on an interim basis based in Cambridge. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
• Managing a small team
• Preparing and presentation of budgets for approval
• Monthly account reconciliation's
• Preparing timely monthly management accounts and variance reporting
• Preparing accounts for year end procedures
• Preparing all VAT returns, payroll returns and statutory returns
• Cashflow planning
• Working effectively to support and manage internal staff The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a senior finance role ideally within a technology environment, have a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACMA or similar), have previous experience with managing staff and be IT Literate, especially with Microsoft Excel. This assignment is initially for 1 month but is likely to be extended and has the potential for it to go permanent for the right candidate.
