A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of my key clients whom I met with recently to discuss their future plans for the new year. Due to their ever growing practice, they are seeking a Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior to join their well-established 4 partner chartered accountancy firm based in Watford. Ideally the Qualified Accountant will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a public practice performing Audit and Accounts duties. The successful candidate will be involved with Audit (30%) and Accounts (70%) but must be willing to perform Audit (100%) some months. Accounts and Audit Senior Duties: Accounts Prep (70%), Audit (30%) Preparing statutory and management accounts Management reporting and results analysis Preparation of, and review of FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A financial statements Management of the firms portfolio of clients Review and prepare audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork Prepare draft accounts and review disclosures Benefits of the Accounts and Audit Senior role: Mentorship - the partners are looking to add a Partner in the near future, so they are motivated to give the widest experience to prepare you for partnership.
