Consumer Additions are currently working in partnership with a leading International FMCG Business, who are looking to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their successful team based in their HQ in London. This will be initially an interim assignment for 6-7 months. Suitable candidates must be able to commit to an assignment of this duration and ideally will be on short/immediate notice. Supplier accounts: Set up and maintain supplier accounts; ensuring the supplier database is accurate and up-to-date. Ensure coding is present for payment run analysis Registration of invoices: Ensure that all invoices received are valid, registered promptly and accurately, and issued to the correct individual for authorisation Ensure invoices are coded and authorized in accordance with company policy or matched to an authorised purchase order Deal promptly and efficiently with queries Purchase orders: Ensure all stock purchases reconcile to purchase orders and liaise with the Purchasing Department to resolve any stock invoice queries Payment runs: Responsible for the planning, preparation and processing of all supplier payment runs CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Extensive experience working in an accounts payable department Intermediate knowledge of accounting packages Experience of extracting and manipulating data from a variety of sources Organised and able to manage a large flow of invoices and payments to our supplier Ability to work well under pressure without sacrificing attention to details
