My client, a fast- growing, Redditch based Sales and Rental business, is currently recruiting a Finance Director to take the business through its next phase of growth. Working closely with the local MD and global CFO, this role offers an excellent opportunity to drive business performance and growth. Please note: My client is looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 7 years of hands-on experience of working within a leadership position. The salary for this role is between £70,000 - £75,000 per annum competitive benefits Essential Requirements for the Finance Director position: Proven financial, analytic and commercial skills Successful track record of supporting operations to improve performance Strategic vision with openness to change and continuous improvement Strong communication and influencing skills, with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Demonstrable experience with employee management, team development and coaching Experience in the context of the financial direction of a subsidiary of a multinational company The role of Finance Director will involve: Developing a team of 7 professionals, providing leadership and assistance when required Supporting the team in the production and review of monthly management accounts Analysing and interpreting financial results to provide commercial decision support to the MD and Ops managers Driving the profitability of projects including leased assets and billed services Working closely with the business to influence both profitability as well as value creation Monitoring the CAPEX and the capital dispositions with the wider management team Managing the budgeting process, maintaining the financial model in order to make financial projections Managing the cash collection for the company in order to optimise the cash flow of the company.
