Assistant Management Accountant - Cwmbran £24,000 - £28,000

Your new company
Your new company are a global manufacturer of lighting systems with annual sales reaching into the £billions. The company has made significant investments in its manufacturing capabilities in the past year and as a result is looking to expand the Finance Team based in Cwmbran.

Your new role
Your initial focus within this role will be to report on the performance of the manufacturing operations and the profitability of product lines. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining the Standard Costing system, budgeting and forecasting and providing analysis for manufacturing performance and product & market profitability.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of two years experience within the finance department of a manufacturing company with the ability to understand and articulate key elements of product costs. Strong analytical skills are required. The willingness and confidence to challenge and verify information and data across the business. Intermediate Excel skills including use of pivot tables and v look ups. Prior experience of using SAP would be advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience. Study package is available if required. 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Company pension.
