T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant to undertake a contract for a successful multi-entity business services company based in Leicester. This contract will be for a minimum of 3 months which could be extended. This is an important appointment for a qualified accountant (ACA /ACCA or equivalent). What will you be doing? Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following: Timely monthly financial reporting for multiple statutory entities including group consolidation and balance sheet review Statutory reporting and returns Cash-flow forecasting and reporting Supporting the development of processes, systems and people to deliver a first-class financial accounting and reporting function Ensure that the business is fully up to date with IFRS including interpretation of upcoming changes and compliance Ad-hoc activities including M&A integration, system improvements Liaising with the external audit firm What are we looking for? This role requires a technically up to date and experienced financial professional who can work on their own initiative and also as part of a team to ensure that the group meets all reporting deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in financial accounting: Statutory Accounts, Group Consolidations, Tax System & process improvements. This role is paying £350 to £400 per day. Interested candidates must be able to commence the contract quickly and be prepared to commit to the 3 months initial term.
